Heroine’s Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok is an adventure game/RPG hybrid by studio Crystal Shard. Inspired by the Norse epic The Poetic Edda, it follows a young heroine’s epic quest to prevent the end of the world… epically.
In Part 1, our Heroine entered a land plagued by the Fimbulwinter, an eternal season of cold said to foretell the beginning of Ragnarok – the end of the world. We got attacked by a two-headed troll, heard a lore drop, stole a meal, met some townsfolk, and was tasked with preventing the end of world as we know it. We feel fine about that.
This week, we’re gonna flesh out the map, rescue the man of our dreams (in the sense we dreamed he was attacked by the two-headed troll that attacked us), and try not to die. Only died once so far – how hard could it be?
