Last Week to Next Week 1

Sunday, June 22

Hi, Next Week Vero! It’s Last Sunday Vero. I’m trying a new thing to make us blog more regularly, going to see if it’ll work this time.

Today’s question: How do I waste the most time each day?

Lately, I’ve been wasting time watching YouTube, especially Hoarders and this hoof shaving guy. Hoarders because I find it weirdly motivating. I hear a bunch of people making the same excuses I make, facing the same problems I face, and I know I can choose differently. Maybe those people really can’t change, but I know I can. And the hoof guy, it’s nice? Same satisfaction as pimple popping but way less gross.

But definitely getting to be too much now, gotta move on.

Right, so, how to watch less? Gonna work more at my hobbies and jobs, outside regular work hours. Less YT is probably a good change to make.

So, Next Week Veronica, how did I do? How much YT did I watch this week vs how much work did I do?

Sunday, June 29

Dear Last Week Vero,

Thanks for the letter. You are right, I do waste too much time watching bullshit on my phone. This week, I spent more time in front of my computer screen, writing and editing mostly.

I finished the Means of Producing episode 2, posted Means of Producing episode 1, and sent out the newsletter. I also finished editing MOP 3 and am getting ready to record the next, and am making meetings for a few others. Hooray, productivity!

I’ve been less productive with the book, but I have a new plan that I’m hoping will expedite my process. I need to close on this. Any thoughts or suggestions?

The box remains unopened. It feels overwhelming.

The war-war had been replaced with the trade war in the news, but I’m sure there will be more blood again soon

I have been off my phone so not hearing much. People were really mad about a sign in Bannerman park.

The regular problems are still here, too.
