Another year in the books! I’m not really sure how to feel about this one – it was a lot! But mostly good!
You may know that last year, after many years of treating it like a hobby, I decided to make art my full time career. The change has had its ups and downs. Focus is a big issue for me, as is consistency. I tried a bunch of different self-management systems and I learned I am a really hard employee to manage, especially when I am the manager.
But I’m creating and growing like I haven’t since I was a kid and it is nice. I’m making mistakes and learning from them. And I’m still chugging along. Last year, entering 2024, I was overwhelmed. This year, I’m excited. That’s progress.
Also, I also wore this outfit several times. Maybe next year I’ll develop a sense of fashion.
