The year was 2013, the month November, the day the 13th, but that’s not as important.
A new trend was sweeping across Facebook status everywhere: Comics! But instead of drawing the comics themselves, like nerdy losers, people were using an app called… I had to look this up, BitStrips. People could make an avatar of themselves and their friends and insert them into situations with text, easily creating their own comic strips. This was the precursor to Bitmoji. For people who drew comics of themselves by hand, this was a crushing blow, because it meant I um they weren’t special anymore. This happened roughly one million years ago.
Everybody’s good at something. Maybe someday I will find my thing.
